The wind nearly blew my easel over a few times whilst I painted this! I enjoy capturing the subtle atmospheric colours of the English beaches in grey weather.
Painted on a balmy summers evening as we drove through the countryside I had to stop when I saw this typical English scene in contre-jour light. As we were packing away a tiny little frog hopped into Ales hand.
This painting will be exhibiting with the Portland Gallery from the 7th to the 18th December at their Winter Exhibition. Please contact sophie@portlandgallery.com for more information.
